Bollywood star Sonam Kapoor seems determined to keep stealing the spotlight at the Cannes Festival 2019, or so it seems. Arriving at the second day of the 72nd edition of the Cannes Film Festival at Cannes, in southern France, she was wore an ivory white tuxedo dress designed by Ralph and Russo.
The Outfit was accompanied with a series of Instagram posts
Sonam wore a white ivory dress, accompanied by a necklace from Chopard as well as Jimmy shoes. She says that she was styled by her sister Rhea. Her hair was made into a tight bun and parted from the middle, as she shared a series of posts on Instagram with the caption, the French Riviera suits me.
Sonam Kapoor, known for her keen sense of fashion and mesmerizing wadrobe, had earlier made her debut at the festival wearing a red dress by Valentino along with beautiful eye makeup. However, all of this pales in comparison to her outfit from last year, wherein she wore a bridal outfit, complete with bangles and mehendi, to mark a few days from the successful completion of her wedding.
The Cannes Festival
The 72nd edition of the festival opened on the 14th of May and had several Indian stars attending. Bollywood actors Deepika Padukone, Aishwarrya Rai, Diana Penty, Hina Khan, and Huma Qureshi have already arrived, stunning everyone with their spectacular outfits, and more and more stars are expected to continue arricign as the festival goes on.
The Cannes Film Festival is a film festival held every year, and it features previews of new films from all genres and languages all over the world. It is “invitation-only” and is known as one of the big three film festivals, including the Venice Film Festival and the Berlin International Film Festival. Recently, the preview of Leonardo Di Caprio’s upcoming movie “Once upon a time in Hollywood” was released and it has taken the movie industry by storm.
Sonam Kapoor is currently working on her next movie “The Zoya Factor” in which she plays Bollywood director and producer Zoya Akhtar. The movie is all set to release sometime in 2020.
