Some of the most beautiful villages that are still unknown are as follows:

Poovar : This is one of the most beautiful villages in Kerala that is located in the southernmost tip of Thiruvananthapuram. From Trivandrum international airport it is about 30 km and 30km from Trivandrum Central railway station. You can enjoy boating and local flavors at this place. 

Kasol: This village in Himachal Pradesh has become a favourite getaway for weekend. It can be reached in an overnight journey from Delhi. The picturesque scenery of this place attracts the tourists visiting Himachal Pradesh, specially those who want to go on trekking. You can enjoy camping at Chalal which is at a distance of just 300km from this village. From Kullu, it is at a distance of 31km only.

Mawlynnong: This village is known for its pristine, misty, tribal and squeaky clean. It is located in 90km south of Shillong. This village has been awarded as the cleanest village in Asia in 2003. You can enjoy a high life by staying at one of the luxurious homestays. There are pretty waterfall, beautiful streams, caves and so much to do in this village.

Ziro: This is another unexplored but beautiful village in Arunachal Pradesh that is located in the Ziro Valley that is hidden in the hills of Arunachal Pradesh. You can explore the rich bio diversity of the Talley Valley Wildlife sanctuary and spot hornbill here. It takes 3hours to reach this place from Itanagar which is at 147 km away. You can enjoy “ Ziro Festival of Music” to satisfy your soul.
