Devdas – one cannot ask for a better Bollywood hit in terms of popularity than Devdas, it remained in the hearts of the people for quite some time. It was based on the novel “ Devdas” by Sharat Chandra Chattopaadhyaay. Written back in 1917 the novel found it’s deserved success through the Shahrukh khan starrer film.
Half girlfriend Arjun Kapoor and Shraddha Kapoor starrer film launched in 2017 which was based on the best selling novel of Chetan Bhagat also titled as Half Girlfriend. This was the novel which made the presence of Chetan Bhagat as a writer of young India.

Fitoor featuring Aditya Roy Kapoor in the lead role, this film was released in 2016 . This film was based on the novel of Abhishek Kapoor, which describes the life of a struggling artist who looks to find his space in the world.
The guide tell me a more iconic film I will wait, starring Dev Anand and Waheeda Rahman one of the legends of their time, Guide still tops the list of all time favourites for most of the people. This movie was a blockbuster one which gave an unexpected boost to the career of its star cast. This movie was made on RK Narayan’s novel Guide, which later bagged almost every national award of its field.
7Khoon Maaf Bipasa Basu starrer film was based on the novel of Ruskin Bond the name itself is enough no need for any introduction such is the presence of this writer. Ruskin even made a guest appearance in that movie.
