A new tool for screening Autism One of the reasons for increasing number of Autism cases is misdiagnosis of Autism. Scientists at the Government Medical College and Hospital, Chandigarh, have developed a tool that is helpful in diagnosing Autism at the early stage so that right treatment can be provided to the children. They often use pesticides in their farm without wearing any kind of protective gear. This led the farmers exposed to the toxicity of the pesticides which ultimately affects their health at some point of time. Hence, to provide the healthy way of spraying pesticides a protective gel—poly-Oxime has been developed by Scientists at Institute for Stem Cell Biology and Regenerative Medicine, Bangalore. This gel is capable of breaking the harmful toxic substances into the safe substance. Thus, when this gel is applied on the skin before spraying pesticides, it prevents the skin to absorb the toxic pesticides and protect the farmers.
