“I will be back”, declares PM Modi at Bihar rally

With last phase of 2019 lok sabha elections remaining, it is generally believed that party leaders focus on appealing to people. However, that is not the case with the BJP party leaders as they seem to be pretty confident about their chances. Recently, BJP President Amit Shah claimed that they are already winning the polls by majority. Following the same path was PM Modi, who declared at a Bihar rally that he “will be back” as the PM.

PM Modi’s last rally at Bihar before the final polling

On Wednesday, PM Modi held a campaign rally in Paliganj, Bihar where he exuded confidence about the BJP’s return to Centre and even promised to bring several developments in the region. This was his final rally before the last and final Phase of the 2019 Lok sabha elections. This particular rally was very important for the party as in 2014 general elections, the BJP-led NDA had won in all the eight constituencies.

Talking about the opposition, PM Modi stated that they are “stitching an alliance of negativism”. Talking about the national security, PM Modi stated, “during earlier terror attacks, the previous governments gave lip service. We said we could not bear with it anymore. This chowkidar of yours gave a free hand to security forces and attacked the terror camps entering their land. They do not deserve to be dealt with leniently. They needed a stern response and we gave that..”

PM Modi promises to bring “vikas ki ganga”

PM Modi also thanked the people for their immense support. “I have come to thank the people for their overwhelming support in the previous six phases of the election, which made the poll outcome known by the end of the fourth and fifth phases, and seek blessings for the last phase. I bow my head before you all with respect for the way you have supported me,” He said.

He even went on record and promised people that in his next tenure as the prime minister, he will bring development project for Ganga rive. “In my next tenure, I would be among you once again and bring along vikas ki Ganga.” he stated.
