The name Salman Khan is not new to the Bollywood industry when it comes to acting. However, not many are aware of the fact that he also owns a production and distribution house which has already given many hits. It goes by the name Salman Khan Films (SKF) and is based in Mumbai and mainly deals in Hindi films.

Let’s take a look at some of the popular movies produced by Salma’s Production House.

Chillar Party 

This was one of the very first movies created by SKF and was directed by Nitesh Tiwari and Vikas Bahl. It won the 2011 National Film Award for Best Children film, Best Child Artist and Best Screenplay.

Bajrangi Bhaijaan

 This blockbuster came out in 2015 and was directed by Kabir Khan. It is the story of Pawan, an ardent devotee of Lord Hanuman, who fights all odds to return Munni, a small Pakistani girl, safely to her home. The movie has been one of Salman’s greatest blockbusters and earned more than Rs. 900 crore globally. The film also featured Kareena Kapoor.

Hero

In 2015 itself, SKF produced ‘Hero’ in which Aditya Pancholi and Athiya Shetty made their debuts. The movie was directed by Nikhil Advani.

Tubelight

The movie released in 2017 and was directed by Kabir Khan. It had other popular cast including Sohail Khan and Om Puri. The movie revolves around the lives of two brothers , the younger of which needs to join the forces during the Sino Indian war of 1962.

Race 3

Directed by Remo D’Souza, the movie hit the screens in 2018 and had a huge star cast including Anil Kapoor, Jacqueline Fernandez , Bobby Deol. The movie revolves around criminal families planning and plotting against each other while revealing the true colour of relations.

Bharat

Bharat is the latest of the release from SKF and also features Katrina Kaif and Disha Patani. Salman is seen playing the role of an aged man and the movie is set during the partition time. With all the hits to Salman’s credit, it is hoped that Bharat follows the league.
