  • Caroline Garcia of France made history by taking home the WTA Finals championship. The final WTA tennis championship of the year was won by Garcia when she defeated Belarus’ Aryna Sabalenka 7-6, 6-4 in the tournament’s championship match in Texas, USA. A French player finally prevailed in this contest after 17 years. After the four Tennis Grand Slams of the year, the WTA Finals is regarded as the premier competition in women’s tennis. Only the top 8 players from the year are given a spot to play in this competition.
  • In the semi-final encounter of the T20 World Cup, Team England  defeated India by a 10 wickets. This is the biggest defeat, or biggest win, of a team in the total of 16 semi-finals in the history of T20 World Cup. England beat India to set the record for most wins by 10 wickets in the semi-finals. Also equalized the victory in minimum overs. On the other hand, Pakistan defeated New Zealand and made its place in finals. Now, final of T20 world cup will take place on November 13 between England and Pakistan at Melbourne Cricket Ground.

Company appointed Bollywood star Shah Rukh Khan as her brand ambassador in 2017.
