History
Earlier these were 2 different UTs but recently Government of India merged them and made a single territory. These both UTs lies within the state of state of Gujrat but Nagar Haveli shares border with Maharashtra also.
The UT was earlier a Portuguese Colony and spread in area of 603sq km. The UT lies in the western Ghats range so it is full of greenery as well as access to coast.
