A viral video on social media has left many netizens terrified while impressed the others. In the video, a man is seen concentrating on his golf while an alligator casually strolls next to him. The video was captured in Champions Gate Country Club in Orlando, Florida and posted by professional wakeboarder Steel Lafferty on Instagram. As the alligator sightings have become common in Florida, it seems that people are unfazed with this animal and it is really not a shock for the residents when they spot one in their neighbourhood.

An encounter with an alligator
Lafferty said in an interview to Fox News that when he was playing golf in the Champions Gate Country Club, a 7-feet alligator passed across the golf course. He added that he wakeboard professionally so he remains mostly in water and around gators. He said that initially he got worried a bit but later he realised that alligator is doing its own thing so he should also do his own thing. Hence, he focussed on his game and he was worried only about his shot. This thought made him to play golf. Lafferty call his encounter with alligator as a good experience.
Video clip got a lot of attention on social media
This video shared on social media has got more than 14,000 of likes and 88,000 of views. These numbers are still being counted as more and more people are sharing the video with others on social media. A lot of comments are also done by the users on this post. Some people are calling it crazy, a normal day in Florida and daring while many others have made astonished comments. One Instagrammer has said “Can’t decide if that’s savage or stupid,” and another one has said, “Wow! Not sure I could stand there and hit the shot”.

Alligators are making the strolls in Florida
This is not the first video of alligator stroll that has gone viral. In the past few days, many videos have been recorded and viral on Internet about the alligators strolling around the residential areas and at the public places. So encounter with alligators has turn common for the people in Florida.
