After Leaving IPL Suresh Raina Breaks Silence, Demands Thorough Investigation In His Relative’s Murder Case

It has been officially stated by Chennai Super Kings that Suresh Raina has returned to India due to personal reasons and he will not play in IPL this year.

 While Raina was in Dubai for the IPL, his aunt’s house in Punjab was attacked by miscreants, in which his uncle was killed, while his aunt and his brothers suffered serious injuries.

Now Suresh Raina has broken his silence on this matter and tweeted that one of his cousins ​​has also died on Monday, while his aunt is still in critical condition.

 Suresh Raina has also questioned the Punjab Police. Raina tweeted– “what happened to my family in Punjab was terrible.  My uncle was slaughtered to death, my aunt and both my brothers had serious injuries.  Unfortunately, my cousin also passed away last night after battling for life for days. My aunt is still very critical and life support.

He further tweeted- “Till date, we do not know what happened that night and who did it.  I request the Punjab Police to look into this matter. We at least deserve to know who did this heinous act to them.  Those criminals should not be spared to commit more crime. Raina has also tagged the Chief Minister’s Office of Punjab and Chief Minister Amarinder Singh in his tweet.  However, he has not written anything about leaving the IPL in his tweet.

 On the night of 19th August, robbers tried to rob his aunt’s house in Pathankot, Punjab. While robbing, the robbers injured Suresh Raina’s aunt and uncle with a sharp weapon.  Ashoka Taral, his 58-year-old uncle, died on the same night.  While his aunt is hospitalized.  She is undergoing treatment but her condition remains critical.
