History
Uttar Pradesh is one of the populous state in the country, which is situated in the northern part. It was created on 1st April 1937, covers around 243,290 km sq. which makes it fourth largest Indian state.
Lucknow, the city of Nawab, is the capital of the state.
It is believed that the people of UP are kind and down to earth. This state is mainly famous for its rich heritage culture and traditions. The angriculture and service industries are the largest parts of the state’s economy. The native of the state are popularly known as UP- wale or Awadhi, Bhojpuri, Braji and so on.
