Deadly Chinese Coronavirus Arrives In US as Russia, India And Other Border Countries Conducting Screening.

Hundreds of people are sickened because of deadly pneumonia and it has killed nine people near Wuhan, China. This has spread to the US despite a number of precautions.  China’s neighboring countries have started screening efforts to prevent a global epidemic.

A Washington man has become the first officially confirmed coronavirus case in the US. The officials have not yet disclosed the name of the person, who is said to very serious. Last week, after returning from the Wuhan region, he was hospitalized due to pneumonia.  In Wuhan, nine people have already died, according to the Chinese authorities.

Till now, it is not clear that how many other Americans may have been affected by this deadly virus, which is believed to have its origin in the seafood and poultry market in the city of Wuhan, which is a home of nearly 11 million people.

On Wednesday, nearly 440 cases had been confirmed in China, growing up in the cities including Beijing, Shenzhen, Shanghai, and cases that have also been reported in other countries like Thailand, South Korea, Japan, Taiwan and now in the US.

Screening points at airports in San Francisco, Los Angeles, New York has been set up by the US Centres for Disease Control and Prevention in the hopes of catching this harmful and deadly coronavirus before they made it to the country, but apparently too late or too far. While the CDC has announced that Americans has very low threat.

On the Airport of Russia, the authorities have stepped up screening of travelers who are arriving from China to try to find out the infected people on Tuesday, when it became clear that the infection can spread from one human to another.

Even in India, 7 seven airports including Bangalore, Chennai, Bangalore, Hyderabad, Cochin, Delhi Mumbai, and Kolkata has also expanded screening of passengers coming from China, including Hong Kong.

It is not clear yet that how easily the virus- which is causing pneumonia – spreads from person to person, but the authorities made it clear that it has directly jumped from animals at the origin city, Wuhan, to humans. WHO is likely to declare this disease as an international public health emergency.
