Indian celebrities are all set for Cannes 2019

Now that the 2019 Met gala is over, the Indian fans are desperately waiting for the Cannes 2019 later this month. As known to all, the 72nd edition of Cannes film festival will be held between May 15 to May 25 this year. Aishwarya Rai Bachchan, Deepika Padukone, Kangana Ranaut and Sonam K Ahuja are the main Indian celebrities to walk the Cannes red carpet this year.

The Indian celebrity lineup for Cannes 2019

The first Indian celebrity to walk the Cannes 2019 red carpet will be Kangana Ranaut. Kangana who made her debut at the Cannes last year will once again travel to French RivIera for her association with vodka brand Grey Goose. When asked about the second visit to Cannes, the actress stated “following an exhilarating debut last year at the Cannes Film Festival, I am looking forward to representing Indian cinema at such a prestigious platform with the global icon of luxury yet again. I made many lifelong memories, inclusive of both big and small moments.” According to the reports, Kangana might walk the prestigious red carpet between 16-18.

Apart from the Manikarnika actress, the Indian brand ambassadors for Loreal, Deepika, Aishwarya and Sonam too will be seen walking the Cannes 2019 red carpet on different days. Starting with Deepika, it is believed that the actress will walk the red carpet on May 16, following her will be Aishwarya who will likely be seen on May 19. Lastly, Sonam Kapoor is believed to walk the red carpet on May 20-21.

New Indian celebrities will also be seen on Cannes 2019 red carpet

This year, TV actress Hina Khan will also make her debut at the Cannes film festival. The actress will travel to Cannes for the premier of her short film, Lines that is based on Kargil war.  The film is set to premiere at the film festival on May 17.
