Like every year, this year to on the first Monday of May, the annual Met Gala took place. Several famous Hollywood stars walked the pink carpet dressed by celebrity stylists across the world. This year’s Met Gala theme was “Camp: Notes on Fashion”, the interpretation of Susan Sontag’s essay “ Amongst the guest list, one of the A-lister that we all were waiting to show up was Priyanka Chopra.

Priyanka Chopra dazzled in the dramatic Dior outfit
Since her first appearance at the pink carpet in 2017, Priyanka has become a regular there. Unlike the last two years, this year the husband-wife duo opted for Christian Dior outfits. Her outfit comprised of a sheer bodice with silver detailing with a skirt which had trailing cape made up of feathers in all different shades like pink and greys. According to the sources, her complete look was worth INR 4,583,280.
Overall, it was clear from her white eyebrows to her over-the-top hairdo, that Priyanka showed that she is “in it to win it”. While many did not like her look and thought it was outrageous, everyone agreed that it certainly was interesting.
Trolling begins on Priyanka’s Met Gala look
Though Priyanka definitely had daringly upped her fashion game, people are still trolling her Met Gala look on Social Media. Just a few days have passed, but there are already thousands of memes available on the internet. Most of them are related to her never-seen-before hairdo. Many Indians have joked that Priyanka might have been endorsing Center Shock. There are also people who stated that her hairstyle was so bizarre that it looked like she had traveled to the pink carpet via over-crowded Mumbai local. Surely, like seen in the past, such trolls would not affect Priyanka and she would hopefully go onto make many such daring choices.
