They have always been very open about their relationship. The two have been dating each other for five years now. He says that people often think they’re married but they’re “single and happily in a relationship”.

Rajkummar says that both he and Patralekha are busy concentrating on work and are in no hurry to tie the knot. “It will happen when it has to. Right now, we’re happy working. Our families are also waiting patiently; they want us to do good work right now,” he says.
Stating that both of them have got used to stuff being written about them, Rajkummar adds that rumours are part and parcel of an actor’s life and he doesn’t let such things get to him. “There are so many things that we read here and there. A lot of people think that we are married. But all I want to say is that we are single and happily in a relationship.
