In Hindi cinema, the story of Raj and Simran is something which people still remember. Yes, we are talking about Shahrukh Khan and Kajol’s film ‘Dilwale Dulhania Le Jayenge’ (DDLJ), which has completed 25 years now.
The 25th anniversary of the movie is being celebrated not only in India but also abroad. On this special occasion, Bronze statues of Shahrukh khan and Kajol are going to be installed in Leicester Square in London.

Famous personalities of Bollywood are congratulating DDLJ’s team on this achievement. On receiving this achievement, Shabana Azmi has congratulated the star cast and team of ‘Dilwale Dulhania Le Jayenge’. The Film Critic Taran Adarsh also wrote on Twitter, “Dilwale Dulhania Le Jayenge’s 25th Anniversary will feature bronze statues of Shah Rukh and Kajol in London’s Leicester Square. It will be unveiled in Spring in 2021. It is the first Bollywood film to be sculpted in the UK.”

DDLJ was directed by Aditya Chopra. The film Dilwale Dulhania Le Jayenge broke many box office records. It is counted among the blockbuster films of Hindi cinema. People still admire its songs and dialogues. People especially loved the on-screen chemistry of Shahrukh and Kajol. Besides, the acting of all the stars including Anupam Kher, Amrish Puri, was also well appreciated by the audience.
