Guru Nanak Jayanti also known as Guruparv, which is celebrated on the day of Kartik Poornima. Mainly a festival for the Sikhs but such is the beauty of India that this festival is celebrated by all with love and devotion.

Many religious programs are organised on this occasion with a lot of devotion and reverence. On 550th birth anniversary of Guru Nanak Dev, how could our Bollywood celebrities refrain from celebrating and coming onto the social media platform to wish their fans and loved one on an auspicious day? They extended wishes on twitter and platform like Instagram to connect with the fans

Many Bollywood celebrities like Amitabh Bachchan, Hema Malini, Sonakshi Sinha, Diljit Dosanjh and many more took to social media to wish everyone on this precious day.

Recently, Amitabh Bachhan extended heartfelt greetings on this auspicious day. Hema Malini shared a message that “ ‘Naam Japo, Kirat Karo or Wand Chhako’ means ‘Chant the name of the god, perform your duty with loyalty and share whatever you gain with the needy’.”

Kapil Sharma also wished his followers on this precious occasion of Guru Nanak Jayanti.

Isha Kopikkar also wrote on Twitter, “Satguru nank pargatya miti dhund jag chanan hoa||Jyo kar suraj nikalya tare chape andher ploa” and share blessings to the netizens on this auspicious occasion.

Many other actresses like Soha Ali Khan, Vipasha Basu and Parineeti Chopra also took their Instagram stories to wish their fans and followers.

Tapsee Pannu and Nimrat Khaira also wrote a long note on the remembrance of the birth anniversary of Guru Nanak Dev.

The well known Punjabi singers and actors like- Diljit Dosanjh, Yo Yo Honey Singh, Harshdeep Kaur and Richa Sharma also took to social media to offer their prayers. Diljit Dosanjh also released the song “Nanak Aad Jugaad Jiyo” on this precious occasion.
