IFFI Awards 2020: ‘Gully Boy', ‘Uri’, ‘Badhaai Ho' And Many More Make Into The List

The 51^st International Film Festival of India (IFFI), under Indian Panorama, will be awarding many movies in different languages. The Ministry of Information and Broadcasting has released gazette notification and announced awards for several films and stars. In the film industry, these awards are being given under the Indian Panorama Regulations 2019.

This list of awards also includes films in many different languages, including many Bollywood films. The Bollywood films and makers who have been announced for the award include Hrithik Roshan’s ‘Super 30’, Ayushmann Khurrana’s ‘Badhaai Ho’, Vicky Kaushal’s ‘Uri: The Surgical Strike’ and Ranveer Singh’s ‘Gully Boy’, Prakash Jha’s ‘Pareeksha’ and Sanjay Puran Singh Chauhan’s ‘Bahtar Hurren’. In the non-feature film category, Vikramjit Gupta’s ‘Bridge’, Vikas Chandra’s ‘Maya’, Pankaj Johar’s ‘Satyarthi’, Vibha Bakshi’s ‘Sunrise’ have also been named. Notably, films in Marathi, Tamil, Bengali, Malayalam and Pania languages are also included in this list.

The Ministry of Information and Broadcasting announced the award on 16^th October. It states that as per the amended Indian Panorama Regulations 2019, the Central Government has decided to award all these films, their directors and makers, based on the recommendations of the jury concerned.
