India-Australia T-20 Series: India Captured The Series With 2-0; This Is 10th Consecutive Victory Of India In T-20

The Indian team defeated Australia by 6 wickets in the second match of the 3 matches T20 series.  With this, the team captured the series by unassailable 2–0. This is India’s 9th consecutive victory in T-20 format. India has become the fourth team in the world to do so.  In addition, the team has also chased the second largest target in Australia. 

 Afghanistan holds the record for the most consecutive match wins in T-20 Internationals. The team won 12 consecutive matches in 2018-19 and 11 consecutive matches in 2016-17.

 In the second T20 played at the Sydney Cricket Ground, Australia lost the toss and gone to bat first . The kangaroos gave a target of 195 runs. In response, Team India score 195 runs in 19.4 overs with loss of 4 wickets. India has chased this second largest target overall in Australia.  The record of chasing the biggest target in Australia is also in the name of Team India.  India scored a 198-run target in the 2016 Sydney T20.

 Team India’s record in T20 is much better in Australia.  The team has not lost any bilateral T20 series in Australia for the last 12 years. After winning this match, the team won the fourth series out of overall 9 against Australia.  Earlier, in February 2008, the Indian team had lost to Australia in their home T-20 series.

India’s 10th consecutive win in foreign land

 This is the 10th consecutive victory of Indian team on foreign ground in T20.  Earlier, India had won 3 T20s on the West Indies tour and 5 on the New Zealand tour. At the same time, in the current series, India has defeated Australia 2 matches on their home land.
