Jyotiraditya Scindia: No conversation about alliances till the elections

Like several leaders, the congress leader, Jyotiraditya Scindia has recently appeared for various interviews and press conference where he reminded people his personal journey as a MP of Ghuna. Taking the platform, the leader also highlighted the fact that people are looking for change that thats what the democracy of India is all about, providing the people what they want.

Scindia believe that no party will get majority

Talking to thehindu, Scindia stated that according to his opinion no single party will win the 2019 lok sabha elections by majority. He stated “It will be a coalition government at the Centre as it is now or has been for the past 25-30 years in the country.”

According to him, the congress party and the UPA government will form the government at the centre. “I think the people of India are waiting for the moment to respond to the injustice that has been meted out to them by the Narendra Modi government over the last five years,” stated Scindia. Affirming people that they are ready to be at the Centre, the congress leader said that “We look forward to putting together a strong coalition government with like- minded parties which will be the UPA or UPA plus plus.”

No alliances before the elections

Scindia believes and have stated that no party will win the elections by majority or that alliances will be formed. However, according to him there are yet no conversations going on regarding the alliances. Everyone wants and is contesting the 2019 lok sabha elections at their own strengths. About the elections, he in plain terms stated, “ let the chips fall where they will…certainly people are looking for change..”

When asked about Rahul Gandhi being the possible Prime Minister, Scindia said that Rahul definitely has all the qualities necessary in a Prime Minister and has a strong and clear vision for the welfare of India and its citizens.
