Rape And Forceful Miscarriage Case Has Been Registered Against Mithun Chakraborty’s Son

Mahaakshay Chakraborty, son of famous Bollywood actor Mithun Chakraborty, is in trouble.  A case of rape and miscarriage has been registered against him at Oshiwara police station in Mumbai. Wife of Mithun Chakraborty,  Yogita Bali, has also been charged in this case.  The allegation was made by an actress-model working in the film industry.

According to media reports, the victim has stated in her FIR that she and Mahaakshay were in a relationship since 2015.  In 2015, Mahaakshay called the victim home and gave her drugs in a soft drink. Meanwhile, Mahaakshay made physical relations with the victim without her consent and later talked about getting married several times.  At the same time, Mahaakshaya made physical relationship with her several times on the pretext of marriage.

She alleged that Mahaakshay Chakraborty continued to have physical relations with her for about four years thereafter. Along with this, mental harassment of her was also done.  According to the FIR, when the victim became pregnant, Mahaakshay continued to pressurize her to have a forced abortion. When the victim did not agree, she was administered on the abortion medicines.  On the other hand, the victim says that she did not know that the medicines given to her were abortive.

 Notably, the victim has accused Yogita Bali, mother of Mahaakshaya and wife of Mithun Chakraborty, also of threatening and pressurizing her. A case has been registered against both under section 376 (2) (n) (repeatedly raping the same woman) against Mahaakshaya and Yogita Bali, section 328 (hurting her by poison or other means), section 417 (cheating), section 506 (threatening) and section 313 (Abortion without the consent of the woman).  Significantly, the victim approached the court regarding her complaint and the case has been registered after a Delhi court order.
