Drugs Probe: NCB Summons Deepika, Sara, Shraddha And Rakul Preet For Questioning In Drug Probe

In the latest action, NCB summoned 4 top actresses of Bollywood for questioning in the drugs case. On Wednesday, NCB officials have summoned Deepika Padukone, Sara Ali Khan, Shraddha Kapoor, Rakul Preet Singh and Deepika’s manager Karishma Prakash for questioning. 

Deepika was summoned in Goa by an NCB official.  Rakul Preet Singh will be questioned first on September 24 regarding drug connection.  On 25th September Deepika Padukone will be questioned and on 26 September Sara Ali Khan and Shraddha Kapoor will be questioned in NCB’s office at Ballard Estate.

Meanwhile, Deepika Padukone was seen blaming her manager Karishma Prakash and Riya Chakraborty’s Talent Manager Jaya Saha for dragging her name in the drugs case.

The case was actually revealed when Jaya Saha and Riya Chakraborty’s old Watts app chat became public, which was being investigated by the Enforcement Directorate in the suspected death of Sushant Singh Rajput.  After interrogation Jaya, revealed several names in drug connection, including famous actresses like Deepika, Sara, Shraddha.

 These famous actresses are being called for questioning only after confirming Jaya Saha, including many others.  The NCB sent a summons to Madhu Mantena after his name surfaced in a drug chat with Jaya Saha.

On Tuesday, Jaya Saha as well as Dhruv Chittagopekar, CEO of a talent company, were questioned by the agency.  The NCB on Tuesday called Dhruv Chittagopekar, CEO of talent management agency KWAN, for questioning.  Karishma Prakash, manager of Deepika Padukone, works in this company.

 Karisma was also summoned by NCB.  She expressed her inability to appear before the NCB on Tuesday through his lawyer, but Sushant’s former talent manager Jaya Saha was present at the NCB office on Tuesday.  Jaya and Shruti Modi were also questioned by NCB on Monday.

An NCB official said that in the Bollywood Drug Connection case this week, actress Sara Ali Khan, Rakul Preet Singh, Shraddha Kapoor and fashion designer Simone Khambata will be called for questioning.  Around 19 people arrested so far and their names have come up in some WhatsApp chats.
