Salman Khan is a name which is not new to our everyday Bollywood dictionary. With a career span of over thirty years , Salman has given us movies in a variety of domains ranging from romance to action.

Salman began his career with ‘ Biwi Ho To Aisi’ in a supporting role. He got his first lead role in 1989 in ‘Maine Pyar Kiya ‘ opposite Bhagyashree. The movie along with it’s romantic numbers is still one of the most celebrated romantic flicks in Bollywood.

During the 90s, he continued his league and gave multiple hits one after the other. In 1994, he featured in ‘Hum Apke Hain Kaun’ opposite Madhuri Dixit which was a huge hit. In 1995 , he co starred with Shah Rukh Khan in ‘Karan Arjun’ and carved his place in the action movies. In 1999, he gave two back to back hits, ‘Biwi No. 1’ and ‘Hum Sath Sath Hain’. In Biwi No. 1 , he was seen romancing two of the most beautiful actresses Karishma Kapoor and former Miss Universe Sushmita Sen. In ‘Hum Sath Sath Hain’, he ventured into the domain of family drama and justified his role to the fullest.

He faced  little slowdown during 2000s but came back and achieved huge stardom in 2010s. 2010 onwards he kept on giving huge hits. His ever famous character ‘Chulbul Pandey’ appeared in ‘Dabangg’ in 2010.  He also won hearts with his performance in ‘ Ek Tha Tiger’ opposite Katrina in which the two reunited after a long time. Due to their huge success, both Dabangg and Ek Tha tiger have been followed by equally hit sequels. His ‘Bajrangi Bhaijan’ and ‘Sultan’ were also quite popular among the fans because of their unique plots and Salman’s fabulous acting.

These are just a few of Salman’s big hits from his acting career. He did have a few slips in his personal life but these hits prove that nothing could affect his Bollywood record. Presently Salman is reported to be busy shooting for ‘Inshallah’ opposite Alia Bhatt. His ‘Bharat ‘has also hit the screens recently and is reportedly doing well.
