1 lakh Cash Reward Announced For Sharing Whereabouts Of Deep Sidhu

The unfortunate violence took place at Red Fort during a tractor rally organized by farmers on 26 January. For this, the police have accused many people including Punjabi actor Deep Sidhu. According to the news agency ANI, the Delhi Police has declared a reward of Rs 1 lakh each on four people including Deep Sidhu, Jugraj Singh, besides the Delhi Police has placed a reward of Rs 50,000 on four others involved in the violence.

SIT formed by Delhi Police

Delhi Police has formed a Special Investigation Team (SIT) under the leadership of Joint Commissioner BK Singh to investigate the violence. The SIT team also includes three other DCPs Joey Turki, Bhishan Singh and Monika Bhardwaj.

Sidhu posted video on Facebook

 Deep Sidhu is absconding since the violence and the Delhi Police is looking for him. However, in the midst of all this, Deep Sidhu has been continuously posting his videos on Facebook in which he has given a clarification. Actor Deep Sidhu cried in videoposted on his Facebook page on Sunday.

Deep Sidhu said that the Punjabi brothers support proved to be an eye wash to him. There are better Biharisthan Punjabis who supported him in this hour of trouble. Deep Sidhu said that in the empty poles on the Red Fort, the flag of Nishan Sahib was put.  At that time, if everyone had tried to awaken the government in unison, it would probably have been good. But he was declared as a traitor.

In this case, the crime branch is investigating with 13 teams, which have identified more than 50 persons involved in the violence. After the violence, 14 tractors have also been seized.  Police is furthering its action. Police has cleared its intent that the guilty will not be spared in any way.
