The deadly virus coronavirus is out of control now. Everybody is living in fear and doing every possible way to protect themselves. Even the doctors who are giving treatment to the patients are not safe. One doctor who works in All India Institute of Medical science(AIIMS) has tested positive for COVID-19, a senior doctor of AIIMS gave the statement.
The doctor is posted in the Physiology Department and after the result, he has been kept in a private ward. His family members also went for the screening.
Update
The doctors who came in contact with the patient of COVID-19 are also being traced.
On Wednesday, a doctor working in Delhi State Cancer Institute also tested positive, other than two resident doctors in Safdargunj Hospital. One is posted in the corona unit and whereas the other one is who is female working in the Biochemistry Department and also has a foreign travel history.
On Thursday, Delhi Health Minister Satyendra Jain said that in Delhi there were 152 positive cases of corona till Wednesday evening, including 53 from Tablighi Jamaat. There are 32 new cases that included 29 cases of Tablighi followers.
