Tiny stings of mosquitoes can sometimes endanger human life.  Mosquitoes born during this season can spread diseases like Zika virus, Malaria, Chikungunya and Dengue. To deal with mosquitoes plethora of products are available in the market.  But instead of spending money on these chemicals, you can also deter them with absolutely natural things present in the house. These products not only are pocket friendly but also have no adverse effect on human health.

Camphor 

The smell of camphor kept in a washroom, kitchen or cupboard can drive mosquitoes out of the house.  Put camphor in a small pot anywhere inside the room or in any corner of the balcony.  In about 30 minutes, the smell of camphor will spread throughout the house and there will not be mosquitoes.

Garlic

Yes, the one which enhances the taste of curries, can also be used as a natural mosquito repellent spray.  For this, boil garlic in water.  Then fill this water in a bottle and spray it in the corners of the house like a spray.  Doing so, the mosquitoes will run away.

Coffee

 Coffee is one of the most preferred beverages. Apart from this, it is also used for beauty purposes as well but, did you know that by using coffee, you can get rid of these disease-causing mosquitoes.  Mosquitoes usually breed in dirty stagnant water.  By adding a little coffee in this water, you can get rid of these mosquitoes.

Lavender oil

Mosquitoes cannot survive before the scent of lavender oil.  Spray lavender oil with a spray to get rid of mosquitoes around you or at home.  If you want, you can use this aromatic oil as a cream on your hands and feet as well.

Mint

The smell of mint can also drive away mosquitoes.  For this, you can always keep a bottle of mint oil around you.  To get rid of mosquitoes, you can also keep a mint plant in the balcony of the house.

 Citronella Grass

Citronella grass is also a good way to keep mosquitoes away.  Citronella oil originating from this grass is used in herbal products such as candles, perfumes, lamps. The special thing is that citronella grass also helps to keep away fever and malaria-causing mosquitoes. 

Tulsi Plant

The Tulsi plant, which is revered in many Indian homes also acts as a mosquito repellent.  Tulsi is very beneficial in the elimination of mosquitoes.
