Tesla’s CEO Elon Musk often remains in news due to his bizarre decisions. Recently, one of his decisions made headlines again. He has now decided that customers can now buy Tesla cars with bitcoins. Now, one can buy Tesla’s car with bitcoin.

The company has started offering bitcoins along withthe dollar and other payment options on its website. Tesla CEO Elon Musk said on Wednesday, “People in the US can now buy a Tesla with bitcoin.” He said the option to pay with the well-known cryptocurrency would also be available to other countries later this year.Tesla has already invested $ 1.5 billion in bitcoin.

You can buy a car by paying less than a coin

Currently, one bitcoin is worth more than $ 56,000, which means that people will have to pay less than a coin to buy an entry-level Tesla. The entry-level Tesla Model 3 Standard Range has a starting price of $37,990. The price of the long-range starts at $46,990. Apart from this, the top-notch model price is $ 54,990.

Musk said in a tweet, “You can buy a Tesla with bitcoin now.” He said, “Tesla is using only internal and open-source (internal and open source) software and directly operates bitcoin nodes. The bitcoins given to Tesla will be retained as bitcoins, will not be converted into fiat currency.”

He further added that the facility of payment through bitcoin will also be available to other countries outside the US later this year. For now, the option to use cryptocurrency appears on the company’s US website only.

 To make a payment, users will have the option to scan a QR code or copy and paste its bitcoin wallet address. According to Tesla’s bitcoin payment terms and conditions, the price of its vehicles will continue in US dollars.
