Tesla’s Model-3 Is All Set To Enter India In 2021, Bookings May Start Next Month

Were you also among those who are eagerly waiting for Tesla in India? Now you do not need to wait much. American giant electric car manufacturer Tesla can start delivery of its cars in India from June 2021. For this, the company can start booking from next month i.e. January. The company will enter India through its entry-level sedan Model-3.

 Tesla CEO Elon Musk had been planning to bring his electric car to India for a long time. About three months ago, Musk had said via social media that we will definitely bring Tesla to India next year, while responding to a social media post informing Tesla about coming to India.

Comes with hefty price

According to a report by Economic Times, the price of Tesla model in India can be between 55 to 60 lakh rupees. Its pre-booking will be done at 1 thousand dollars for about 73 thousand rupees. According to the report, it has been pre-booked by GOQii’s Mahesh Murthy, Vishal Gondal and Voonik CEO Sujayath Ali. The company will sell the Model-3 rather than a dealer.

 Model 3 is the cheapest car of Tesla

 The Model-3 is Tesla’s cheapest car ever. It was rolled out in 2017.  It has emerged as the world’s best-selling electric car. It will be fully built and imported into India.  This car charges in just 15 minutes. Once on a full charge, it travels up to 500 km.  Its top speed is 162 mph.
