- Recently the teaser of Vicky Kaushal’s Sardar Udham Singh has been released. Along with this, the release date of the film has also been announced. Vicky himself shared the trailer of the film with fans on social media and wrote, “On the birth anniversary of Shaheed Bhagat Singh, I am proud to bring the story of his colleague Sardar Udham Singh – one man, many surnames, one mission. Sardar Udham teaser.” The film will be released on October 16 on the Amazon prime video. Movie is being directed by Sujit Sarkar, also stars Banita Sandhu and Amol Parashar in lead roles. The film is based on the life of revolutionary Sardar Udham Singh who shot Michael O’Dwyer in London in 1940 to avenge the deaths in the Jallianwala Bagh massacre in Amritsar.
- The winner of Colors TV stunt reality show Khatron Ke Khiladi 11 has been announced. There was a match between Divyanka Tripathi and Arjun Bijlani to win the trophy of the show, where Arjun Bijlani has won by a margin of just 20 seconds. While Arjun’s fans are celebrating his victory, fans of runner-up Divyanka are accusing the channel and host Rohit Shetty of bias.
- The release date of actor Vidyut Jammwal’s upcoming film ‘Sanak’ has been revealed. Vidyut himself has shared a new poster of the film on social media. In its caption, he wrote, “Ek baar sunak gayi na toh….. Complete the sentence in sanak style.” ‘Sanak’ will release on OTT platform Disney Plus Hotstar on October 15. In this new poster, some injuries are seen on Vidyut’s face. He is seen holding a gun in one hand and a child in the other. The film is directed by Kanishk Verma, also stars Rukmini Maitra, Neha Dhupia and Chandan Roy Sanyal in lead roles.
- Sanjay Leela Bhansali’s film Gangubai Kathiawadi is set to be the first film of the year 2022 to release in theatres. The releasing date of this movie is 6th January 2022. In the film, Alia Bhatt is going to be seen in the strong role of Gangubai, the mafia queen of Kamathipura. The trailer of the film has been released which has got a great response from the audience. - The shooting of Rajkummar Rao and Sanya Malhotra’s upcoming film ‘Hit: The First Case’ is going on at a brisk pace. Rajkummar Rao is in the role of a police officer in this. The search operation was conducted by NCB at Cordelia Cruises’ Empress ship going from Mumbai to Goa where 600 high profile people were present.
