Obama, In His Memoir, Calls Rahul Gandhi ‘Nervous’ And Leader With ‘Unformed Quality’; Also Talks About Other Leaders

Former US President Barack Obama has said a lot about many leaders including Rahul Gandhi in his book.  Obama has mentioned Congress leader Rahul Gandhi in his autobiography ‘A Promised Land’.  Obama, in his autobiography ‘A Promised Land’, described Congress leader Rahul Gandhi as ‘nervous’ and less competent.  In the book, Obama also mentions former Prime Minister of India Manmohan Singh, Sonia Gandhi and Vladimir Putin.

 Barack Obama wrote in his book, ‘Rahul Gandhi is a student who has done coursework and is eager to impress the teacher but either does not have the aptitude or lacks passion to master the subject.  He has also described Rahul Gandhi as ‘nervous and with unformed quality and person with lack of ability or passion.

 The New York Times has reviewed Obama’s memoir ‘A Promised Land’.  In this, the former President has also talked on topics other than political leaders from all over the world.  According to a review published in the New York Times, Obama says of Rahul Gandhi that he has the qualities of a ‘bewildered and uncouth’ student who has completed his entire course and wants to impress his teacher  But it lacks the ability or ‘passion to master the subject’.

 In the memoirs, Obama also mentioned Rahul’s mother and Congress President Sonia Gandhi.  The review stated, ‘We are told about the handsome of men like Charlie Crist and Rahm Emanuel but not about the beauty of women. Only one or two examples are exceptions like Sonia Gandhi.

 It has been said in the review that both former US Defence Minister Bob Gates and former Prime Minister of India Manmohan Singh have absolutely impeccable truth / honesty.

About Putin

He added that Russian President Vladimir Putin reminds him of the strong, clever boss who runs the Chicago machine.  About Putin, Obama writes, “Physically he is ordinary, but very tough.”

 This 768-page memoir of Obama is going to hit the market on November 17.  America’s first African-American President Obama visited India twice during his tenure in 2010 and 2015.
